The Eaton Rapids boy’s cross country team wrapped up the season with an sixth-place finish at the Division 2 regional at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson.
Mason won the regional title followed by Chelsea in second and Sturgis in third place. Eaton Rapids totaled 181 points to place sixth.
Junior Kenny Wherry led the way for the Greyhounds as he placed fourth in a time of 16:13.1. Freshman Jake Spencer placed 26th in 17:37.1 followed by senior Brad St. Aubin (40th, 17:57.8), sophomore Shea Mackenzie (54th, 18:26.7), freshman Jake Roodsvoets (57th, 18:30.6), sophomore Collin Spagnuolo (66th, 18:46.1) and junior Kraig Whitmyer (77th, 19:20.8).
