Morley Stanwood senior Alexis Huntey has been announced as one of 10 finalists for Miss Volleyball for 2011 in Michigan.
Huntey delivered 85 kills for leading her Class C team to the championship last weekend of the Grandville Invitational, which included mostly Class A schools.
The senior hitter has been an all-stater the past two seasons.
The Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association will announce the winner later this fall.
Huntey has verbally committed to playing collegiate volleyball at George Washington University next year.
