Chesaning senior Kelsey Stoll will be heading to the Division 4 state finals next weekend at Forest Akers West in East Lansing after qualifying at Wednesday’s Division 4 regional tournament at Glenbrier Golf Course in Perry.
Stoll shot a 97 and finished seventh overall but was one of the top three scores of players from non-qualifying schools and earned the berth at the state meet.
The Chesaning girls golf team finished in eighth place as a team with a 458 team score.
Lansing Catholic Central won the team title with a 339 followed by Frankenmuth (411) and Freeland (414).
Senior Jessica Thiel finished in the top 15 overall as she fired a round of 103.
