Senior wide receiver Javon Haines led the way for East Lansing as the Trojans defeated Haslett 38-18 in the season opener.
Haines caught five passes for 139 yards and also returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown as he finished the game with three scores.
Senior quarterback Jake Pendred completed six passes for 157 yards and Christopher Jones led the ground game with 50 yards.
East Lansing returns to action Thursday when it hosts Southeast Michigan power Chelsea and their talented senior running back Berkley Edwards.
