Carson City-Crystal’s football team and coach Jason Gray is getting ready to play in a new conference this season: the Mid-State Activities Conference.
The Eagles have left the Central Michigan Athletic Conference and will play the five MSAC schools from weeks four through eight.
CC-Crystal starts off by playing nonleague schools for the first three weeks. The Eagles will be playing at Michigan Lutheran Seminary Aug. 24 and Traverse City Christian on Aug. 30. The first home game is Sept. 9 with Big Rapids Crosroad Charter Academy.
Then the MSAC schedule starts. The Eagles play at home Sept. 14 with Vestaburg, at Coleman Sept. 21, home with Montabella for homecoming Sept. 28 and at home Oct. 5 with Sacred Heart Academy and at Ashley Oct. 12. The season ends at home Oct. 19 with Potterville in non-league play.
