GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
The Redskins will have to reload and rebuild this season, as they return only one starter from last year, senior Mindy Reminga. Reminga averaged seven points and eight rebounds a game, and head coach Mike Nelson will be relying on her to help lead his team this season. Joining her will be junior Stefanie Harig and sophomore McKenzie Breimayer, two leading scorers on the junior varsity squad last season, and senior Haily Silvernail.
The Lady Redskins finished with a record of 7-14 overall and 6-6 in the O-K Blue.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
The guys’ basketball team, behind head coach Brian Babbit, ended their season with a record of 5-16 overall and 2-10 in the O-K Blue and look to improve on that this season.
Returning for the Redskins are Dylan Hunt, Andrew Leppink, and Brendan Zuyer. They will be joined by newcomers Brad Baker, Kole Hart, Cody Saliers, and Rod Vandyke.
