Farwell lost 26-24, 25-23, 25-15 to McBain in a semifinal match.
“We just made a couple of mistakes and kind of got down on ourselves and stopped talking,” said Farwell’s Lauren Ringwalt. “I think we did really well.”
For Farwell, Jenna Hamming was 8-of-8 in serving with three points, one ace, 10 digs and three kills; Sydney Hurley was 3-of-5 in serving with one point and one ace plus three digs and four assists and Ashley Gaskill was 5-of-6 with two points, six digs and three kills; Lauren Ringwalt was 4-of-5 with two points, one ace, four digs, five assists and one block and Lyndsay Ruckle was 6-of-6 with one point, one ace and three digs.
