The Birch Run Panthers dominated Essexville Garber shutting them out 25-0.
Nathan McGuire got the scoring going in the first with a 43 yard pass to Grant Childs but the Panthers failed to get the extra point. In the second quarter McGuire took it in himself with a 19 yard rush but again the Panthers missed the extra point making the score 12-0 going into the half.
McGuire rushed for his second touchdown of the night in the third quarter taking it in from 32 yards out but the extra point kick was no good. McGuire then connected with C.J. Opperman for a 43 yard touchdown pass and this time Caleb Slavik added the extra point making the final score 25-0.
Opperman led the offence on the ground with 75 yards on 11 carries. Childs had 21 yards on two carries while Cam Thompson had 27 yards on 10 carries.
Leading the defense was Cody Roe with 12 tackles and Joe McGrandy with 11.
