Comments from St. John’s coach Mark Lasceskli The Girls Varsity team was defeated by Williamston 73-40. Both teams played even through most of the first quarter. The Hornets took a 13 – 9 lead into the 2nd quarter and extended their lead to 35-19 by halftime. The Redwings came out after halftime and struggled to score as Williamston increased their lead to 30 points as they cruised to the victory.
