The Frankenmuth boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Benzie Central on Friday to compete in their Invitational which was organized extremely well to follow MHSAA guidelines during the COVID pandemic. Team scores will be computed once all schools have competed in this two day event.
Both the boys and girls teams ran outstanding today at the Benzie Central Invitational. Final scores will not be ready until tomorrow as the remaining schools will be competing.
Of the nine boys that competed today, all of them set Season Best times. Three set Personal Records, and one earned a spot on the coveted Top-10 record board!!
Congratulations to junior Collin Fall who established himself as the #8 top cross country runner in Frankenmuth history! Collin set a personal record taking 4th overall with a time of 16:37.99. Collin’s placement on the record board moved Scott Nedoff off the board. Scott’s record time is 16:41.59 set in 2018. Last week, Scott told Collin that he was going to beat his time today. Great sportsmanship and comradery!
Of the ten girls that competed today, all of them set Season Best times. Five set Personal Records, and three moved their times up on the Top-10 record board!
