Comments from coach Mark Laseski of St. Johns: DeWitt Jumped out to an 8-2 lead early in the first quarter. The Redwings tried to keep the game close but DeWitt outscored St. Johns 11 – 4 in the 2nd quarter and took a 29-13 lead at halftime. The Panthers extended their lead to 46 – 22 in the 3rd quarter as they outscored the Redwings 17-9 in the quarter. St. Johns continued to battle in the 4th quarter and was able to get within 21 but could get no closer as the Panthers went on to victory.
