Alma 65, Garber 51
Garber jumped out to a 18-9 first quarter lead on Friday behind 4 three pointers from Dylan McFarlane. Alma responded with a 21-7 second quarter including a 19-2 run spurred on by 8 points from Paul Gadde and 5 from TJ Arens to take a 35-30 lead. From there Alma outscored Garber 35-26 in the second half as Alma’s defense really took control.
Alma was led by Paul Gadde’s 20 points and 4 steals, Case Martin added 12 pts and 8 rebounds, and Cade Frillici added 10 pts, David Apple 8 & Drake Martin 6 pts and 4 blocks, and TJ Arens 5 pts, and Brice Austin’s 4 pts and 10 rebs. It was a balanced attack tonight as great defense coupled with unselfish offense.
Garber was led by Dylan McFarlane’s 17 pts on five 3 pters and Jameson VanOchten added 11 pts.
