On Saturday Swan Valley Boys and Girls bowling took on Alma and Birch Run Alert Lanes.
The Lady Vikings beat Alma in their first match by a score of 21-9. They won both baker games to take a 10-0 lead into the Peterson games. The teams split the Peterson’s with the Lady Vikings winning the first one 620-605 and the Lady Panthers winning the second one 637-630.
The Lady Vikings took on the Ladies from Birch Run in the second match and lost by a score of 21-9. The teams split the baker games with Birch run winning the first one 162-118 and the Lady Vikings storming back to win the second one 174-121 and holding a slim 6-4 lead heading into the Peterson’s. Birch Run won both Peterson’s by a slim margin.
The Boys also bowled Alma in the first match and won going away 28-2. They won both baker games and both Peterson’s.
In the second match against Birch Run they lost a heartbreaker by a score of 16-14. The Boys took both baker games to lead Birch Run by a score of 10-0 heading into the Peterson’s but that is where Birch Run stormed back to win the match by taking both Peterson’s.
