Merrill’s boys basketball team won against Ashley 45-39 on Thursday. Ashley led 11-6 after the first quarter but Merrill was up 24-20 at halftime. It was 34-34 after the third and Merrill had an 11-5 scoring advantage in the fourth. Logan Heath scored 14 points while Michael Buckley had 11 points and Jacob DeBeau eight points.
