Portland St. Patrick improved to 12-0 with a 49-6 win over Climax Scotts in an 8-player semifinal game. St. Patrick was up 22-0 after the first quarter and 37-6 at halftime.
The Shamrocks scored six points in each the third and fourth quarter.
St. Patrick scored in the first quarter on a 47-yard run by Ned Smith, 9-yard pass to Zach Spitzley from Connor Cross and a 2-yard run by Cross.
Cross had a 5-yard run in the second quarter and Cross threw 15 yards to Derec Fedewa.
St. Patrick also scored on a 5-yard run by Cross in the third quarter and a 30-yard run by Fedewa in the fourth. Ned Smith ran for 114 yards. Cross passed for 113 yards.
St. Patrick plays at the Superior Dome on Saturday against Pickford for the state title.
