Ithaca’s Jason Marcy has been named Region 27 coach of the year by the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association. Marcy led the Ithaca boys to their first regional title in 72 years and also guided the squad to a state championship.
Pewamo-Westphalia’s Scott Werner has been named boys and girls coach of the year for Region 25 by the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association.
P-W boys finished second by one point to Ithaca in the Division 3 state finals. The girls took first place.
