She is a three-sport athlete (volleyball, basketball and softball) and will have 12 varsity letters after her senior season.
Her awards include 2016 All State first team softball, utility; 2018 All State honorable mention, shortstop; 2017 All Region team softball; 2016-18 first-team All Saginaw Valley League, softball; 2017-18 All Academic Saginaw Valley League – All Sports; 2017 All Region Team Volleyball
‘Skylar also excels in the class room carrying a 3.68 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and has volunteered in school programs such as link crew during her high school career,” a spokesperson said. “Proximity to home played a factor as did the comfort level with the coaching staff, university and current and committed players. The large student body and the wide selection of academic programs was also a considerable draw.”
