Coach: Clark Swerdan, 2nd year varsity coach. We were 3-18 last year and lost to Sanford-Meridian in the second round of districts (we got a bye).
Key Losses: Josh Hilliard (6.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.2 apg, 2.0 spg) & Tayven Cottrell (5.5 ppg)
Probable Lineup: Tyler Germain (jr, G, 5’11), Logan Schocknesse (sr, G, 5’9, 4.2 ppg), Connor Arnold (jr, F, 6’2, 11.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.0 apg, 1.6 bpg), Kam DeVrieze (jr, F, 6’3, 7.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg), Spencer Pnacek (sr, F, 6’2, 6.8 rpg)
Others: Dominic Beauchamp (jr, G, 5’7), Garrett Owens (jr, C, 6’5), Spencer Brownlee (jr, G, 5’10), Trey Templeman (jr, F, 5’11)
Outlook: We are a relatively young team with only two seniors, but have 5 returning varsity players, including our top two scorers from last year. Our bench is young and inexperienced, but hopefully a couple guys can step up. We should be a lot more competitive this year.
Carson City-Crystal & MPSH have been the top teams in our league the last several years and this year should be no different. Breckenridge had a down year last year and will likely bounce back and be a top team as well.
