Jalen Theis of Lansing Catholic has been named High School Sport Scene Female Athlete of the Week. The junior cross country runner won the Division 2 girls race Saturday in 18:01.9.

Ericka VanderLende of Rockford won the Division I girl race in 17:08.4 at the state meet.
