Crossroads girls volleyball team won 2-1 over Unity Christian on Tuesday.
Coach Kristen Yates of CCA: :The girls were excited to play after their comeback against RCV in the first game. The energy was high, but we just couldn’t get a lead and lost the first set 14-25. Not ready to give up, we switched the rotation a little and earned an early lead we could hold on to. The girls swept the second set 25-8 and went on to win a close third set 15-13. Natalie Chapman and Sydney Kueser both earned 3 aces from the service line. Natalie also earned 2 kills and 1 solo block. Grace Clark earned herself a solo block and a kill as well.”
