The Owosso Trojans faced Ovid-Elsie in their home opener on Wednesday night. It was a back and forth battle between the two schools with the Marauders eventually walking away with the win. Down 2-1 in the match, Owosso finally hit their stride in the fourth set as they powered through for a 25-11 win. With the two teams tied on the night, it came down to the final set where the Trojans played tough but were unable to get the job done, dropping the set 12-15.
