Austin Melton (41-5) of DeWitt placed 2nd at 140 pounds in the Division 2 wrestling finals in March at The Palace of Auburn Hills. In the semifinals, he won by fall over Jon Wellman (New Boston – Huron) in 4:46. He lost 7-5 to Austin Thompson in the finals.
