Alma coach Ken Shunk has been happy with performance of his Alma girls bowling team so far this season. The Panthers recently won over Ovid-Elsie while losing to Ithaca.

“The last couple weeks our girls have really stepped up to the lanes,” he said. “They have faced different houses and different teams but are learning to cope under pressure. I’m very proud of Susan Schultz for shooting her new high game of a 277 and a 252 for a great day of bowling. I’m also proud of freshman Kemmie Shunk for consistently growing and getting experienced in the pressure as our anchor. Our other junior Brittney LaCross and our young freshmen are doing a fabulous job in their role on this team.”
