On Alma College’s recent trip to Arkansas, the team wrestling team went 2-1, with the only loss coming to NCAA Division II nationally-ranked No. 2 Ouachita Baptist 29-16. The two wins on the day were by scores of 60-0 (Ozarks) and 46-3 (Lyon College). The Scots are now 8-1 on the season.
In addition, Scot 174-pounder Jamie Jakes notched a big victory in the dual with Ouachita, as he took down the 2014 NJCAA National Champion by a score of 3-2. Jakes is now 6-0 on the season.
