Outlook: Former team coach Tom Burrill is back in charge and has plenty of skill players, led by hard-charging running back Kelley (6’0″, 205 pounds) and big-play quarterback Wilson.

East Grand Rapids
Nickname: Pioneers

Players lost: Conor Conaboy, Troy Gotch, James Eerdmans
Players returning: Carter Masek (LB), Mikey Roth (QB), Mason Banbury (TE), Drew Hollerbach (FB)
Outlook: The Pioneers come into the season with an attitude, after missing the playoffs for the second year in a row. Senior linebacker Masey (6’3″, 225 pounds) is a big-time talent, while Roth leads the offense.

Forest Hills Central
Nickname: Rangers

Players lost: Zach Walker, Parker Tillman, Josh Lamica
Players returning: John Nutter (WR), Brett Miller (QB), Xavier Tillman (TE), Dylan Otoski (WR), Alex Dykema (RB)
Outlook: The Rangers return a number of talented skill players and have some large, talented linemen. With good depth, as well, they are poised for a strong season.

Grand Rapids Christian
Nickname: Eagles

Players returning: Jack Bates (LB), Qi’Ante Ewing (LB), Mitch Damstra (TE), Juwan Jarnegan (DE), Lukas Thompson (QB/DB), Gabe Andre (DB)
Outlook: The Eagles return a bushel of talent, led by Andre, who is headed to the University of Toledo, and by Thompson, a junior, who takes over at quarterback. The linebacking corps is also deep and extremely talented.

Lowell

Players returning: Josh Colegrove (RB/DE), Josh Branigan (TE), Karson Murley (OL), Max Dean (LB), Ryan Stevens (QB), Trevor Shurlow (LB)
Outlook: The Red Arrows return a talented corps of veterans and have an abundance of talented newcomers who have been waiting for their turn to keep the Lowell express rolling this year.

Jenison
Nickname: Wildcats

Outlook: Long-time Jenison assistant Steve Uganski takes over the reins this season. The team has some talented veterans returning, but moving up the standings in one of the toughest leagues in the state is daunting.
