Saginaw Valley Lutheran improved to 10-1 with a 61-58 win Friday over Hemlock.
Valley Lutheran was up 18-17 after the first quarter, but trailed 31-26 at halftime. Valley Lutheran was up 45-43 after the third quarter and had a 16-15 advantage in the fourth. Josh Appold scored 23 points while Rylan Appold netted 18 points. Logan Gatza had 12 points for Valley Lutheran. Josh Appold had 10 rebounds while Rylan had five. Marco Anchondo had four assists.
