Freeland fell to 2-2 with a 77-53 loss on Dec. 20 to Hemlock in boys basketball action. Hemlock led 15-9 after the first quarter, 30-22 at halftime and 56-40 after the third quarter. Hemlock had a 21-13 scoring advantage in the final quarter.
Jake Jankoska scored 28 points while Travis Hahn netted 11 points, followed by Mitch Piper with five points and Jared Shea with four points.
