Hemlock improved to 3-2 prior to the holidays with a 77-53 victory over Freeland in a home boys basketball game. Hemlock led 15-9 after the first quarter, 30-22 at halftime and 56-40 after the third quarter. Hemlock had a 21-13 scoring advantage in the final quarter.
Hemlock was led by Ethan Apsey with 23 points, four assists and three steals while Jacob Rowley had 13 points and four assists, Brad Fleischmann had six points and eight rebound, three blocks and six assists, Austin Keyser had six points and five rebounds and Alex Merchant had two blocks.
