Sport: Football
Accomplishments: Grace ran for 236 yards and two touchdowns in Swan Valley’s 26-21 Division 4 quarterfinal loss to Lansing Sexton. He also completed 2 of 2 passes for 17 yards. With the 236 yards rushing, Grace finished the season with 2,952 yards, a state single-season rushing record. He averaged more than 10 yards a carry during the season.
College: Grace is receiving a lot of attention from Big Ten and MAC Schools as one of the top juniors in Michigan.
The Kaylie Rhynard File
Shepherd High School
Class: Junior
Sport: Cross Country and Softball
Accomplishments: Rhynard helped the Shepherd girls cross country team to its first Division 3 state championship since 1994. She placed fifth overall in the state final in a time of 18:55.5.
GPA: Academic All-State in both cross country and softball.
College: Rhynard will attend Grand Valley State University, where she plans on running cross country and playing softball for the Lakers.
