Charlotte’s volleyball season ended with a 26-11 record on Tuesday at Eaton Rapids following a 3-0 loss to Chelsea, which advanced to the regional finals with a 40-13-1 record. The first game was tight with Chelsea taking a 25-21 win. But the next two matches went to Chelsea rather handily 25-13, 25-14.
Having solid performances for Charlotte were Maggie Goeman with eight kills and two blocks, Emily Helfrich with two blocks, Ashleigh Reinbold with 22 assists, Cheyenne Schmidt with eight digs, Mikala Skowronski with two blocks and Hannah Smith with three aces, eight kills and two blocks.
