East Lansing ended a state championship season Nov. 2 at East Kentwood in Division 2 boys soccer with a 2-0 victory over Spring Lake.
Eat Lansing ended the season at 25-2 while Spring Lake was 16-7-3. Ben Swanson-Ralf scored 29:41 into the game for East Lansing, which led 1-0 at halftime. DeJuan Jones put in the second goal with Ian Carroll assisting. For goalkeepers, Blair Moore had one save for East Lansing and Joe Czajka had five for Spring Lake.
East Lansing had an 8-3 edge in shots and 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
