Lansing area runners did very well as individual competitors Saturday in the Division boys cross country race at Michigan International Speedway. They qualified based on how they did at the regionals the previous week.
Daniel Kroth of Okemos led the way by taking fifth in 15:43.4. Dietrich Hittner of East Lansing was 25th in 16:01.7. Kael Fineout of Okemos was 34th in 16:15.3 while Grant Colligan of Holt was 36th in 16:17.8. Alberto Gomez of Holt was 138th in 16:57.1l.
