Chippewa Hills football team is still in the playoff hunt following a 26-16 win over Hesperia Friday night and the Warriors are now 5-3.
They need to win at home next Friday night in the regular-season finale to secure a postseason playoff berth.
Trevor Purdy had a 2-yard run, Tyler Kelsey a 70-yard punt return and Nathan Berryhill a fumble recovery to spark Chippewa Hills to a 19-0 lead after the first quarter. In the fourth quarter, Hunter Conley had a 6-yard run for Chip Hills in the fourth quarter.
Quentin Gossett had 144 yards on 31 carries for the winners.
Marcus Merrill and Eric Russell had nine tackles apiece for the Warriors.
