Lansing Catholic’s bid for another Division 4 girls state golf title is on the line after one round of action Friday.
Grosse Ile is first at 356 while North Pointe Christian of Grand Rapids is second at 362 and Lansing Catholic third at 372. LC will have to make up 16 strokes in Saturday’s second round to catch Grosse Ile.
Freeland was fifth at 388.
Jacqueline Setas of Lansing Catholic is leading all golfers with a 77. Megan Watkins of Frankenmuth is second at 81, Bria Colosky of Farwell fifth at 84 and Megan Baumgartner of Perry 12th at 87.
Also for Lansing Catholic, Abby Meder had a 97, Lauren Burnett and Elaina Walling shot 99s and Chrissy Jurkovic had a 105.
