Elle Nichols of Okemos shot a 76 to lead her team to a 17-stroke lead after one day of action Friday in the Division state finals at Michigan State University’s Forest Akers East Golf Course.
Okemos has a score of 326 while Birmingham Seaholm is second at 343 and Midland Dow third at 349. East Lansing is 10th at 391, Greenville 12th at 402 and Mount Pleasant 14th at 416.
Stephanie Carras of Midland Dow is third at 79.
Also for Okemos, Jessica Kim is fifth with an 81 and Sydney Williams sixth with an 82. Kharissa Carras of Midland Dow is 11th with an 86. Karli Didion shot a 93 to lead Greenville. Lauren Lyhon had a 92 for Mount Pleasant.
Brianna Forsthhoefel has a 91 to lead East Lansing.
