Lacy Tolfree, Heritage, Outfield
Highlights: In an early season doubleheader against Saginaw Arthur Hill, Tolfree doubled twice, hit two grand slams, stole two bases ,and drove in 11 runs in the Hawks’ victories.
Maija Satkowiak, Linden, Outfield
Highlights: Satkowiak hit a walk-off double to lead her team to a 3-2 victory over Belding in a Division 2 state quarterfinal game.
Hannah Stockford, Meridian, Outfield
Highlights: This senior was arguably one of the best defensive outfielders in the Sports Scene coverage area. She hit .404 with a .472 on-base percentage, 44 hits, and 34 runs scored. She was a 20 of 20 in stolen base attempts and finished with a .970 fielding percentage, making 31 putouts and only one error.
Courtney Reinhold, Swan Valley, Pitcher
Highlights: The junior righthander led the Vikings to the Division 2 state final and a 31-9 record. She has committed to Grand Valley State University.
Hannah Leppek, Bay City Western, Pitcher
Highlights: Her team’s No. 2 pitcher last season, this year the senior led them to the Division 1 state final. She finished the season with a 25-2 record, a 0.92 ERA, 14 shutouts, and 240 strikeouts in 151 2/3 innings.
Paige Churchfield, Swan Valley, Infield
Highlights: A sophomore, Churchfield can either play behind the plate or at first. She can hit for power and average.
Sara Hansen, Sacred Heart Academy, Infield
Highlights: Hansen has arguably been one of the best hitters in the state the past two seasons. After shattering state and national records a year ago as a sophomore, she bettered her bating average with a .641 this year to go along with 66 hits and 15 RBI. A first-team all-state, all-district, all-region and all-MSAC selection as a shortstop, she accounted for 49 runs and struck out just once this season.
Sarah Addy, Swan Valley, Infield
Highlights: A catalyst for the Vikings at the top of the lineup, Addy can get on base with her speed, and she has the ability to stretch singles into doubles.
Maison Kalina, Bullock Creek, Catcher
Highlights: A strong-armed catcher who plays with no fear, the junior has already committed to Central Michigan University. She batted .476 with a .504 on-base percentage and 49 hits, including 20 for extra bases. She scored 35 runs and drove in 42 more.
Courtney Masseau, Holt, Designated Player
Highlights: Masseau has the ability to play different positions on the field, including catcher.

Tom Kennelly, Swan Valley
Highlights: Nearing the 1,000 career victory mark, Kennelly led the Vikings to the Division 2 state title game for the second straight year.
