LaMarr Woodley’s 6th annual football camp is returning to Saginaw on Saturday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Saginaw High School.
Space is limited to the first 450 to register.
The camp is free and provides children ages 7-15 a chance to work on football skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-esteem building. Each participant receives a t-shirt, lunch, refreshments, and a goodie bag. They will also meet Woodley and other NFL players taking part in the camp.
Camp registration began April 29. Parents can register and sign a waiver from Coach Don Durrett’s office or at lamarrwoodley56.com. Return both forms to Coach Durrett by Friday, May 24. Keep the top half of the registration form stamped by Saginaw High as confirmation and bring it to camp on June 8.
Woodley played for the Saginaw High state championship team in 1999 before moving on to the University of Michigan where he became an All-American and a second round selection of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
