The Michigan Capital Area Basketball Club (MCABC), also known as MI Triple Threat, brought home a state championship trophy April 27 in the sixth grade girls’ divison.
The tournament was held at the Midland Community Center and MI Triple Threat was seeded No. 1 in the Division 1 bracket. The team waltzed through the competition and won the state championship after defeating the statewide competition.
Some of the key players on the team included Bergin Robinson (Okemos), Jackie Jarvis (Fowlerville), and Mckenzie Lewis (Williamston).
