Lansing Eastern narrowly missed out on first-place honors in the 15th annual Mike Adamson Ionia Wrestling Invitational on Saturday.
Carson City-Crystal topped the 10-team field with 285 points while Lansing Eastern had 283.
Eastern netted a first place from Shukurani Nyabenda at 103 pounds.
Jon Sarmiento took championship honors at 160 pounds for Eastern.
Josh Crim was first at 285.
Aaron David lost his finals match at 135 pounds and finished second. Diego Molina took second at 140 pounds. Jerek Crim was second at 152 pounds.
Luciano Sanchez was third at 119 pounds. Jeffrey Mills was third at 215. Juaqin Sanchez was fourth at 130 pounds.
Josh Gillespie gained fifth place at 189. Ayinde Pulliam was sixth for Lansing Eastern at 125 pounds.
Russel Ebulela was ninth for Eastern at 112 pounds.
