The Saginaw Heritage boys defeated Carman Ainsworth Saturday at Colonial Lanes in Flushing 20-10. Here is a summary of the results:

It was the first Saginaw Valley conference match of the season.
“We started a little slow with a couple sub-par baker games, but got better as the match progressed and bowled an excellent 1,145 in the second peterson game to get the victory,” said Heritage Todd Hare. “Adam Frost led the way with games of 258 and 279 to set a conference record of 537 for the two-game total. Adam really carried the team in the first peterson, shooting 258.
“No one else shot 200 and we won a close game by 24 pins. The second Peterson was a total team effort with all five guys shooting over 200, with Adam again leading the way with a 279.”
