The Midland wrestling team won the Division 1 team district that it hosted. The Chemics won the title with a 43-33 victory against Traverse City West in the district championship match. Midland advanced to the title match by defeating rival Midland Dow 42-36 in the semifinals. Traverse City West defeated its rival, Traverse City Central, 46-30 in the other semifinal.
Midland moves on to the regional semifinal next Wednesday where it will face Davison in one semifinal.
