Summary: Sacred Heart is in first place in the Mid State Athletic Conference (MSAC) West division with a 6-0 mark. Overall, the Irish are 13-4. Junior standout Kari Terwilliger leads the way for the Irish. An explosive scorer on the offensive end of the floor, Terwilliger went over the 1,000 points mark for her career earlier this season. Vestaburg has a 13-8 overall record and is in second place in the MSAC West. Lily Johnston leads the way for Vestaburg as she is averaging 22 points per game while dishing out four assists per game. Summary: This district is loaded with quality teams which will provide fans with some great basketball. St. Charles is ranked 18th in the state in Division 4. The Bulldogs are 15-5 overall and are in first place in the MSAC East division. Allison Zelinko leads the way for St. Charles as she averages 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists per game. Nicole Zelinko is adding 10.5 points per game and four assists while Abrielle Dinninger is adding eight points per game. All Saints is 13-6 overall and is in first place in the Big Thumb Red division. Lydia Scherzer leads the way for All Saints. Michigan Lutheran Seminary is 15-5 overall and is second in the TVC Blue division. Charlie Alcorn leads MLS with 11.6 ppg along with 8.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists. Adeline Wenzel is adding 11 points per game while Kerin Gardner is adding 10 points per game. Merrill is 13-7 overall and is in second place in the MSAC East. Summary: Portland St. Patrick is the big favorite in this district. The Shamrocks are ranked 17th in the state and have a 16-4 overall record. St. Patrick is also 12-4 in the loaded CMAC. Gracelyn Rockey leads the way for the Shamrocks along with Lily Sanborn, Macie Smith and talented freshman guard Macie Leonard. The Shamrocks are the lone team in the district with a winning record, but Fowler and Fulton-Middleton both have rich histories and are capable of pulling the upset.
