Divisions 1-2

 

1.) Saginaw Heritage. The defending state champs have key players back from last season’s team. Enough said.

2.) East Lansing. East Lansing would love a state title rematch with Heritage and it might happen.

3.) Freeland. Made it to the quarterfinals last season.

4.) DeWitt. Coming back from a 21-2 season

5.) Midland Dow. Molly Davis will make this team tough to beat.

6.) Bay City John Glenn. The Bobcats are off to a 4-1 start.

7.) Grand Ledge. Comets are off to a 4-1 start

8.) Okemos. Laya Hartman can take team a long way.

9.) Central Montcalm. Green Hornets return everybody from a 20-0 regular season.

10.) Alma. Panthers are coming off a strong 16-5 season.

 

Division 3-4

1.) Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart. The Irish lost in overtime in the state semifinal last season to eventual state champion Adrian Lenawee Christian.

2.) Pewamo-Westphalia. Pirates have fired out to a 5-0 start

3.) Michigan Lutheran Seminary. MLS state runner-up in 2017

4.) Hemlock. The Huskies have gotten off to an impressive 5-0 start

5.) Fowler. It’s tough being in same conference as P-W.

6.) Ithaca. Yellowjackets are out to 4-1 start.

7.) Reese. This could be huge season after 6-1 start

8.) Bath. Fighting Bees play in tough league, off to 6-1 start

9.) Portland St. Patrick. Shamrocks flying high at 6-1.

10.) Durand. It could be huge season with 3-1 start.
