Alex Penski of Holt has been named High School Sports Scene’ Male Athlete of the week. The junior cross country standout had the area’s fastest time at the state meet in 15:48.9 and took seventh in the Division 1 boys race.
Honorable mention
Alex Taylor of Beal City was fourth in the Division 4 state cross country race in 16:18.
