Lansing Catholic’s season ended over the weekend with a 38-20 loss to Grand Rapids West Catholic in the Division 5 district finals.

 

Lansing Catholic ended the regular season at 5-4 and had beaten Ovid-Elsie 41-21. Both West Catholic and Lansing Catholic enter the game at 6-4. Lansing Catholic trailed 31-0 at halftime. Lansing Catholic scored in the third quarter on a 70-yard pass from Zac Baker to Tony Poljan and in the fourth quarter on scoring runs of 1 and 4 yards by Jordon Smith. Poljan was 14-of-24 in passing for 209 yards and one touchdown and had three interceptions. Baker caught four passes for 118 yards. Poljan had 42 yards rushing while Smith rushed for 30 yards.
